Safety & Use Guidelines
At SecondSends, your safety is our priority. Our products are designed with care, but proper installation and use are essential. Please read the following guidelines carefully before use.
Installation
Secure Mounting Required: All hangboards and edges must be screwed into a solid structure such as a strong wooden beam or frame. Drywall, thin ply, or weak surfaces are not safe.
Responsibility: We are not liable for injuries or damage caused by improper installation, incorrect mounting, or use on unsuitable surfaces.
Weight Limit & Intended Use
Maximum Load: 100 kg (220 lbs). Do not exceed this limit under any circumstance.
Designed Purpose: Our products are intended for warm ups, stretching, and light finger training. They are not designed for weighted hangs, pull ups, or heavy resistance training.
No Dynamic Loading: Avoid sudden or explosive movements such as jumping to catch the edge, as this increases stress on both the product and the mounting surface.
Safety Tips
Always check your setup before every session to ensure screws are tight and the surface is secure.
Warm up properly before hanging to reduce injury risk.
Stop immediately if you feel pain or discomfort in your fingers, tendons, or joints.
Keep the area beneath clear and avoid placing it above hard surfaces without a crash mat.
Supervision is recommended for youth climbers to prevent misuse.
